PastorLife was founded in 2000 by Dr. J. Mike Minnix.

In 2024, the ministry was passed to his daughter and son-in-law, Sherry Minnix Hefner and Dr. Vincent D. Hefner.

In 2024, PastorLife launched a new website. This included the task of transferring hundreds of sermons. The new site started with about 1,500 sermons. Many more will be added in the following months.
