Ron Hale

Bio of Ron F. Hale

Ron F. Hale currently serves at West Jackson Baptist Church in Jackson, Tennessee. He is an Associate Pastor in the areas of Acts 1:8 Missions and Single Adults. Previously, Ron served as the Associate Executive Director of the Illinois Baptist State Association (Convention) in Springfield, Illinois in the areas of Evangelism and Church Planting.

Appointed as a Home Missionary (SBC) in 1993, Ron and his wife Yvonne served in the following areas over the last fourteen years:
* Kansas City area as Church Planter Strategist
* Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as Director of Missions
* Illinois for seven years with the state convention.

Education -- Ron is a graduate of Union University, attended Midwestern Theological Seminary, and received a Masters of Missiology from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Pastoring -- Ron has pastored two churches: one in Tennessee and in Olathe, Kansas. While pastoring the Fellowship Baptist Church in Olathe, Kansas, the church was recognized by the Sunday School Board (SBC) as one of the fastest growing Southern Baptist Churches in the nation and was mentioned in James Emery White's first book entitled Opening the Front Door: Worship and Church Growth. Ron is in the process of slowly writing his first book entitled: Hypocrite Helper.

Testimony -- Ron became a Christian at the age of twenty-three after being the youngest man in the state of Tennessee to acquire an alcohol license, while part-owner and manager of a five-hundred seat night club at the age of nineteen. He was called to the ministry one year later and started preaching in jails, prisons, and churches.
